Maria Eugenia Catanzaro

Maria Eugenia Catanzaro has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and governance. Maria Eugenia is currently working as the Director of Information Security at IPSY since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at AFIP from 2018 to 2021, where they held roles as the GRC and Physical Security Lead, as well as the Security Governance Lead. Before AFIP, Maria worked at EY from 2013 to 2018, serving as the Central Operations, Performance Excellence, and BCP Lead, as well as the Security Assurance Specialist. Maria Eugenia also has experience working at IBM Global Services from 2004 to 2013, where they held roles such as IT Manager, IT Governance Leader, Team Lead Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Remote System Access Administration. Maria Eugenia started their career at Telefónica Argentina in 2001 as a Helpdesk Support. Throughout their career, Maria has developed expertise in areas such as governance, risk, compliance, physical security, information assurance, and identity and access management.

Maria Eugenia Catanzaro attended Universidad Tecnológica Nacional from 2003 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Ingenieria en Sistemas de Información. In addition, they hold several certifications including SAFe® 4 Certified Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. obtained in September 2017, Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA, obtained in 2015, and another CISM certification from ISACA obtained in January 2014.
