Dr Cat D.

Dr Cat D. has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. They are currently serving as the Regional Medical Director at Iqarus, responsible for clinical activities in Rest of World (RoW) and Afghanistan. Prior to this, they held the role of Honorary Fellow at World Extreme Medicine. They also served as a Fellow at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). In their role at the Royal Air Force (RAF), they worked as a Personal Staff Officer to the Deputy Commander and as an Officer Commanding Tactical Medical Wing. They also served in various roles at the UK Ministry of Defence, including Medical Team Leader for J4 Med in Permanent Joint HQ and Medical Defence Engagement. Additionally, they worked as a Deputy Force Medical Officer at the United Nations. Dr Cat's earlier experiences include roles such as Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC) at the Defence Academy, Medical Desk Officer for Operations in Africa at UK Permanent Joint Headquarters, and Senior Medical Officer at RAF Northolt.

Dr Cat D. has a strong educational background with degrees in various fields. Dr Cat obtained their Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery from the University of Liverpool in 2004. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the Royal College of General Practitioners and obtained an MRCGP degree in Medicine in 2009.

In 2017-2018, Dr Cat D. enrolled at the Chartered Management Institute, where they completed an Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership at the CMI Level 7. This program enhanced their knowledge in organizational leadership.

In 2020, Dr Cat D. completed their Master of Arts in Defence Studies at King's College London, specializing in this field. Afterwards, they continued their education at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Public Health. This program, which started in 2020, is expected to be completed in 2024.
