Lead Trainer at Iqarus

Shannon Ledet has a diverse and extensive work experience that spans over three decades. Shannon began their career in 1990 with the US Army, where they held various leadership positions. As a First Sergeant, Shannon demonstrated strong leadership skills and managed teams of over 300 personnel in fast-paced medical and operational environments. Shannon had a secret security clearance and successfully motivated diverse teams to achieve organizational goals.

After their role as First Sergeant, Shannon took on the position of Emergency and Operations Manager, where they oversaw medical operations and developed and executed plans and policies within an organization of 800 personnel. Shannon also coordinated projects between the US Government and 12 NATO Partner Nations, improving security and medical and civil programs. In addition, Shannon contributed to the success of a multinational training exercise in Spain and played a crucial role in saving lives during a real-life mass casualty incident.

Shannon's experience also includes roles such as Clinical Operations Manager, where they managed operations and personnel on behalf of hospital directors, and Medical Training Director, where they developed and delivered performance-oriented training and mentored and trained numerous organizations. Furthermore, they served as an Operations Supervisor, responsible for the welfare, training, and discipline of employees, as well as emergency management during mass casualty situations.

Currently, Shannon holds the position of Lead Trainer at Iqarus, where they apply their extensive experience to lead training initiatives.

Shannon Ledet's education history is as follows:

From 2018 to 2021, Shannon attended Campbell University, where they studied psychology.

In 2015, Shannon enrolled in the NATO School Oberammergau to study NATO Medical Planning.

In 2008, Shannon joined the U.S. Army Sergeant Major Academy to pursue the Battle Staff NCO Course.

In 2006, Shannon attended Louisiana State University to study at the Fire Academy and FEMA Incident Command.

In 2005, Shannon enrolled in the U.S. Army Sergeant Major Academy to complete the First Sergeant Course.

In 2004, Shannon participated in Combined Humanitarian Assistance Response Training at the Department of State.

In 1998, Shannon attended the Army Medical Department Center and School, where they completed both the AMEDD NCO Advance Training and Medical Supervisor Training.

Finally, in 1990, Shannon attended Louisiana State University and obtained a Firefighter I certification.
