Vidhyasagar Vivekanandan MBCS (SAGAR) has extensive work experience in the field of IT systems administration and engineering. Vidhyasagar began their career as a Graduate Systems & IT Engineer at SMS Ltd in August 2012, where they provided 1st line technical support and monitored hardware/software upgrades for existing desktop equipment.

In August 2013, Vidhyasagar was promoted to the role of Systems & IT Engineer at SMS Ltd. During this time, they were responsible for providing web-based and network solutions, as well as strategic planning and project leadership for systems migration, configuration, administration, upgrades, and troubleshooting initiatives. Vidhyasagar also documented end-user workstations for troubleshooting tips and maintenance procedures, monitored system and network activity, and provided daily technical support and 24/7 on-call support.

In August 2014, Vidhyasagar was further promoted to the position of IT Systems Administrator at SMS Ltd. Vidhyasagar Vivekanandan, also known as SAGAR, has a Master's Degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems/Information Engineering, which they obtained from Robert Gordon University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at Anna University from 2005 to 2009.

Additionally, SAGAR holds the MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Configuration certification from Microsoft, obtained in February 2008, and the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft, obtained in December 2006.

Furthermore, SAGAR has obtained safety and industry-related certifications. Vidhyasagar completed the Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) certification, the Oil & Gas Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) certification, and the Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Training certification from OPITO in December 2015. Vidhyasagar also obtained the COSHH Assessor certification from Evolve Training in March 2015.
