Karolyn Dale

Karolyn Dale has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Karolyn is currently working at IQHQ as the Chief of Staff, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to their current role, they served as the Associate Director of Executive Administration at IQHQ from January 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining IQHQ, Karolyn worked at Junior Achievement of San Diego County where they held the position of Vice President of Development from September 2017 to January 2021.

From 2012 to 2017, Karolyn worked at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, where they held two roles. Karolyn served as the Major Gifts Officer from September 2015 to August 2017 and as the Associate Director of Events and Corporate Relations from October 2012 to September 2015.

Prior to joining Sanford Burnham Prebys, Karolyn worked at HeadNorth as the Program Director from November 2008 to September 2012.

Karolyn also has experience working at Cushman & Wakefield as an Event Planner from June 2006 to October 2008, at PRA Destination Management as an Account Manager from September 2004 to May 2006, and at PCMI as a Conference Planner from January 2002 to August 2004.

Karolyn Dale obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Later, in 2000, they also earned a Certificate in Festival & Event Management from the same university.
