Helen Thornton

Helen Thornton is an experienced financial executive currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer of IQUW Re and Group Head of Finance since January 2022. Prior to this role, Helen held various positions at Nephila Capital from June 2011 to October 2021, including Co-Head of Reinsurance, Chief Operations Officer, and Senior Fund Controller. Helen's career also includes a significant tenure at Citi Hedge Fund Services Ltd as Senior Vice President from June 2000 to June 2011, and earlier roles at KPMG as Audit Senior and Auditor between September 1995 and June 2000. Helen holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, graduating in June 1995.
