Wayne Holmes

Wayne Holmes is a distinguished academic specializing in the Critical Studies of AI and Education, currently serving as a Professor at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society since December 2020. In addition, Wayne holds the position of Associate Professor at the International Research Center on Artificial Intelligence under UNESCO and serves as Lead Expert for AI and Education at the Council of Europe. Wayne has contributed as a consultant for UNESCO and has previously held roles, including Principal Researcher at Nesta, Lecturer at The Open University, and Visiting Associate Professor at multiple institutions. Wayne's academic qualifications include a DPhil and MSc in Education from the University of Oxford, an MA in Philosophy from the University of Greenwich, and a BA Hons in Film and Photographic Arts from the University of Westminster.
