Dirk Kvale

Dirk Kvale began their work experience in 1994 as a Military Intelligence Officer for the US ARMY. Dirk served in this role until 1999. In 1999, they joined Avtec Systems as a Systems Engineer, and worked there until 2000. Dirk then joined IRD Glass in 2000 as the President and CEO, where they led three business units focused on precision glass, ceramics, and optical custom manufacturing. Their responsibilities included building relationships with customers, collaborating with engineering, quality, and purchasing teams, and improving manufacturability and production flow. Dirk is currently still in this role at IRD Glass. Additionally, from 2012 to 2015, they served as a Board Member and President of the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce.

Dirk Kvale attended Battle Lake, MN High School from 1986 to 1990. Dirk obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
