Director Global HR Operations & HR Business Partner at Irdeto

Marcelle Rabie has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Marcelle is currently the Director Global HR Operations at Irdeto, where they lead a team of HR professionals in EMEA, AMER, and APAC. Marcelle'sresponsibilities include managing the Labour Compliance Risk Management Plan and its execution.

Prior to their current role, Marcelle was a Senior Global HR Manager at Irdeto, where they supported regional HR teams and focused on creating a globally aligned team culture and HR service operating model.

Before joining Irdeto, Marcelle worked at Ecolab as a Senior Global HR Manager and HR Business Partner for the Lobster Ink and Ecosure division. Marcelle was responsible for designing digital training for deskless workers across the globe.

Marcelle also served as the Head of HR at Priogen Energy, where they led the HR team and played a key role in establishing the company's USA office. Marcelle started their career in HR at takealot.com, where they worked as an HR Business Partner and HR Team Manager.

Additionally, Marcelle has experience as an HR Business Partner at Zando, South Africa's first online fashion retailer, and as a Merchandise Financial Planner at Truworths, a fashion retailer in South Africa. Marcelle also worked as a Ski Instructor at Skischule Oberlech.

Marcelle Rabie completed a Masters in Business Administration (MSc.) with a specialization in Human Resource Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, Marcelle pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Human Resources at Stellenbosch University in 2010. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Management Sciences) degree from Stellenbosch University, completing it from 2007 to 2009. Marcelle also pursued a specialized qualification in Advanced Labour Law (Honours Standard Qualification, NQF Level 8) at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Lastly, they completed their Senior Certificate/Matric with exemption and three distinctions at St Cyprian's School in Cape Town, South Africa in 2006.
