Marcelo Costa

Marcelo Costa has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marcelo began their career as an IT Manager at Canbras TVA Cabo Ltda from 2000 to 2004. Marcelo then worked as a Consultant at Siemens in 2004. Subsequently, they joined MCosta Consultoria e Servicos as a Consultant, where they deployed various solutions for clients, specializing in LAN, from 2004 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, Marcelo worked as a System Engineer at Kathrein Mobilcom Brasil, and then at Casa Systems as a Senior System Engineer, focusing on DOCSIS technology, from 2012 to 2015. Following that, they joined YouCast as a Senior System Engineer from 2014 to 2015. Marcelo's most recent position was at Irdeto, where they served as a Senior Presales Engineer from 2015 onwards.

Marcelo Costa has a strong educational background in engineering and electronics. In 1989, they started their educational journey at FEI, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering. Marcelo successfully completed their degree in 1994.

Later on, Marcelo pursued further education by enrolling at USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 2002. Unfortunately, they did not complete their Master's degree in Network Security and ended their studies in 2003 without obtaining a degree.

In 2013, Marcelo returned to FEI to earn a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Digital Signal Processing. Marcelo successfully completed this program in 2015.

Beyond their formal education, Marcelo has obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2019, they became a Certified Ethical Hacker through Strong Security Brasil, and in 2020, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council.
