Mark van Tussenbroek

Principal Software Engineer - UX Lead at Irdeto

Mark van Tussenbroek has over 35 years of work experience in various software engineering roles. Mark started their career at Fokker in 1985, where they focused on improving 3D working procedures with CATIA and built prototypes for CATIA-product models. In 1996, they joined FAIR Information Services, a joint venture between IBM and Roccade, where they developed a demonstration for the PDM package called ProductManager. At Cyco Software, Mark worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2000 to 2001, developing a new document management product for the Engineering market. Mark then freelanced for ECL, a UK-based company, from 2001 to 2003, where they developed extensions to Meridian and their CAD products. Currently, Mark works at Irdeto as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on middleware design and development. Mark has worked on various projects, including PushVOD, Remote Booking, Usage Monitoring, and the Advanced TV 2.0 project. In their current role, they collaborate closely with Products to design and develop new UI features for set-top boxes.

Mark van Tussenbroek began their education at the Parkschool in an unspecified year, completing their studies in an unspecified field of study. Following this, they attended the Dalton Scholengemeenschap Voorburg from 1969 to 1975, where they received their VWO degree. Later, from 1981 to 1985, they pursued Mechanical Engineering at the Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag, earning an Ing degree.
