Joshua Self

Self joined Iredell Health System in 2018 after serving as the CEO of Mary Black Health System — Gaffney in South Carolina. A member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Self holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He also served as the chief operating officer at Biloxi Regional Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Self oversees the cardiovascular, laboratory, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, pharmacy, home health, rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, and radiology departments.
