Israel Bimpe

Israel Bimpe is a seasoned leader in the technology and healthcare sectors, currently serving as CEO of Irembo since June 2020, where Irembo designs and builds digital products, notably the IremboGov e-government platform, facilitating online access to over 100 public services in Rwanda. Previously, Israel held several key positions at Zipline, including Director of Africa Go-To-Market, where partnerships with governments and businesses were established to enhance drone delivery services, and Global Partnerships Lead, focusing on Universal Health Coverage initiatives. Additional roles included Country Manager for GLOBHE drones, and leadership positions within the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation. Israel holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Rwanda and completed the Mandela Washington Fellowship in Public Management at Howard University.
