Brian Powell

Brian Powell is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and operations. Currently serving as VP of Engineering and Advisor at Pieces for Developers since May 2023, Brian also holds the position of CTO and Founder at WinHalf.com since January 2018. Brian's advisory roles include significant contributions to organizations such as Hosanna Revival and TheMonetizr, along with board positions at iReportSource, Inc. and Wyzerr. Previously, Brian served as CTO at CenterGrid and VP of Innovation & Technology at Vora Ventures from January 2022 to August 2024, as well as COO at TalentNow during the same period. Noteworthy achievements include leading technology teams, migrating platforms to Google Cloud for improved efficiency, and successfully renegotiating technology contracts to generate substantial savings. Brian holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School.
