Patrick Mercer

Patrick Mercer currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer at Iridex since September 2018. Previously, Mercer held the role of Chief Operating Officer at TrackNet from May 2017 to September 2018 and Vice President of Manufacturing at RODO Medical from May 2015 to May 2017. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Manufacturing and Logistics at DFine, Inc. from November 2008 to December 2014, and Director of Manufacturing and Engineering at HemoSense from May 2007 to November 2008. Mercer also worked as Senior Manager of MFG Engineering at Revivant from 2002 to 2007, Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Stryker Endoscopy from 2001 to 2002, and Electrical Project Engineer at Kimberly-Clark from 1999 to 2001. Experience began in the US Navy from 1990 to 1994 in Nuclear Power. Mercer earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering from The University of Alabama between 1995 and 1998 and completed the APICS CSCP class.
