Jay Amirmokri

Jay Amirmokri is a highly experienced professional in project management and engineering, currently serving as Director of Project Management at Iridium since October 2021, after holding the position of Associate Director. Previously, Jay held the role of Technical Program Manager in the Radio Access Network at OneWeb and served as Principal at OpTech, LLC, where recommendations enhanced satellite communication systems' performance. As Director of Engineering at Conduent, a Xerox spin-off, and at Xerox, Jay directed software development for cloud-computing Automatic Fare Collection Systems. Additionally, Jay founded and directed operations at UltraComm, LLC, and led design teams at Hughes Network Systems for satellite routers. Jay holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
