Sharon Ní Chonchúir

Sharon Ní Chonchúir is an experienced features writer with a diverse background in journalism spanning multiple platforms. Since June 2007, Sharon has contributed to The Irish Examiner, focusing on workplace wellbeing and parenting in the Friday's Feelgood section and the Tots to Teens column. As a features writer for Irish America Magazine since November 2005, Sharon has explored cultural, political, and social issues in Ireland for a U.S. audience. Additionally, Sharon's extensive experience includes serving as a regional news correspondent for Kerry's Eye Newspaper and as a columnist for The Irish Post Newspaper until June 2023. Other roles include content writing for Slattery's Travel, media communications for Siamsa Tíre, branded content creation for NewsCred, and managing a personal blog about food adventures. Sharon holds a Higher Diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism and a BA in English and French from the University of Galway. Sharon also owned and operated Béile le Chéile Café from 2012 to 2014.
