Elaine McGovern

Elaine McGovern has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Elaine currently holds the role of COO, CIO, and Director of Business Effectiveness & Transformational Change at Irish Life Health, starting in June 2020. Before that, they worked at Vodafone as the Head of Customer Strategy & Enablement, Vodafone Commercial Operations from April 2017 to June 2020. Prior to Vodafone, Elaine worked at SSE Airtricity where they held various positions, including Head of Strategy, Innovation & Transformation from January 2013 to March 2017, Director of NI Gas & Business Integration in June 2012, Head of Digital, Marketing & Analytics from January 2009 to May 2012, Head of Operations from November 2006 to December 2009, and Finance Manager (incl. Credit Control) from January 2002 to October 2006. Elaine started their career at Alcatel-Lucent as a Revenue Manger from February 1999 to December 2001.

Elaine McGovern has attended Harvard Business School for the program "Leaders for Tomorrow." Additionally, they obtained the qualification of Chartered Certified Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
