David Ronayne is an experienced executive with a career spanning several decades in finance and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Irish Mainport Holdings since July 1985, David previously held the positions of Financial Accountant and Finance Director within the same company. Additionally, David was the President of the Irish Business and Employers Confederation Cork Council from September 2014 to December 2017, overseeing a council of 22 members. David also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Cork Simon from September 2010 to September 2014. Earlier in David's career, a role as a Chartered Accountant at PwC from September 1982 to May 1985 helped to establish a solid foundation in finance. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork, earned from 1978 to 1981.
