Barney McGonigle

Barney McGonigle possesses extensive experience in sports management and education, with a notable tenure as the U19/U20 development team manager at the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) since October 2009. Prior to this role, Barney McGonigle served as the Head of Physical Education at Friends' School, Lisburn, from September 1979 to August 2009, and held the position of U18 Schools' Manager at IRFU from 1999 to 2004. Educationally, Barney McGonigle is a graduate of Stranmillis College, Belfast, where a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education was obtained following studies at Portadown College from 1965 to 1976.
