Mark Bendixen

Mark Bendixen is an experienced construction professional with a diverse background spanning over three decades. Since October 2016, Mark has held the position of Project Executive and Senior Project Manager at Iron Construction, Inc. Additionally, Mark has owned and operated MB Contracting since November 2013, specializing in residential remodeling with a focus on efficiency through in-house craftsmanship. Mark's previous roles include Senior Engineering Operations Manager at CBRE Global Investors, where responsibilities included overseeing facility infrastructure at a large campus, and Associate Director of Operations at Team San Jose, managing significant renovations to the San Jose Convention Center. Earlier experience includes positions such as General Superintendent at Shames Construction and Superintendent at TICO Construction Company, demonstrating a strong ability to lead teams and maintain high construction standards. Mark’s career began as a Fleet Mechanic at San Jose Mercury News, where skills as an ASE Certified Master Heavy Duty Truck Technician were developed. Education was pursued at West Valley College.
