Colt Frederickson

Colt Frederickson has worked in the software engineering field since 2005. Colt began their career as a Java Software Developer at Idaho National Laboratory, where they assisted in the implementation of a persistence system and developed JUnit tests. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at RightNow as a Software Engineer, where they developed user interfaces for Marketing, Feedback and Cloud Monitor modules of a SaaS CRM suite. Colt then moved to Oracle RightNow, where they worked as a Principal Applications Engineer. During this time, they worked on a small team using agile processes to build and deploy mission critical software used by thousands of enterprise companies. Colt also processed billions of actions a month in a multi-tenant environment in near real-time, and designed and implemented a Big Data system for calculating analytics based on web activity. Colt then worked at Rubicon Project as a Sr. Software Development Engineer from 2015 to 2017 before moving to IronCore Labs, where they currently serve as a Sr. Software Engineer.

Colt Frederickson received a BS in Computer Science from Montana State University-Bozeman between 2004 and 2006. Colt then went on to earn an MS in Computer Science from the same university between 2008 and 2011. Colt also holds four certifications, including Introduction to Functional Programming in Haskell from edX obtained in December 2014, Cryptography I from Coursera obtained in November 2014, Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera obtained in December 2013, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera obtained in November 2012.
