Mike Kinnaird

Mike Kinnaird is an experienced professional with a diverse background in pharmaceutical sales and engineering. Currently serving as an Executive Clinical Sales Specialist at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals since October 2012, Kinnaird focuses on launching a novel therapeutic agent within the Gastroenterology and Primary Care Community in Virginia. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Hospital Specialist at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, where Kinnaird successfully introduced various therapies to medical professionals in large teaching hospitals. Previous positions at Astra Merck Pharmaceuticals involved promoting proton pump inhibitors and antihypertensives, alongside early work at J.C. Bradford & Co. as an Investment Broker. Kinnaird also has an engineering background, having worked as a Senior Engineer at Babcock & Wilcox, where responsibilities included designing reactor vessels and radiation shielding components. Kinnaird holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
