Katherine Zimmerman

Katherine Zimmerman is a Senior Analyst at Afghanistan War Commission and a Non-Resident Fellow at Irregular Warfare Initiative. Katherine is also a Term Member at Council on Foreign Relations and a RESOLVE Network Research Advisory Council Member at Resolve Network. With a background at American Enterprise Institute as a Critical Threats Project Adviser, Research Manager, and Senior Analyst, Katherine has extensive experience in foreign and defense policy studies. Currently pursuing a PhD in War Studies at King's College London, Katherine holds a Master of Arts in War Studies from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Middle East Studies and Political Science from Yale University.
