Dan Ouchi

Dan Ouchi is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the field of biostatistics and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute and IDIAP Jordi Gol since 2019 and 2017, respectively, Dan has previously held positions such as Senior Data Manager at IGTP - GCAT and Data Scientist and Technical Leader at LineBrands. With a strong background in big data management, predictive algorithms, and data quality control, Dan has developed methodologies and tools for efficient data analysis, contributing significantly to HIV research through the manipulation and interpretation of biological data. Dan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Bachelor's degree in Business Statistics from Universitat de Barcelona.
