Brian Jones

Brian Jones has a comprehensive work experience in the energy and utilities industry. Brian most recently served as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Irth Solutions starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Cognizant as the Vice President/Industry Head for Energy, Utilities & Natural Resources from November 2018 to August 2022. From February 2014 to November 2018, they held the position of Senior Vice President at Utegration, Inc.

Before joining Utegration, Inc, Brian worked at SAP from January 2006 to January 2014, first as a Senior Account Executive and later as a Senior Industry Principal for Utilities. In their role at SAP, they were responsible for delivering solutions to utility companies.

From January 2000 to December 2005, Brian was the Vice President North America at Peace Software and was in charge of providing Customer Information Systems solutions to energy and utility companies. Brian played a significant role during the acquisition of Peace Software by First Data Systems.

Prior to that, they worked at SPL WorldGroup as a Regional Sales Director from May 1998 to December 1999, where they provided Customer Information Solutions to large investor-owned and municipal utilities. SPL WorldGroup was later acquired by Oracle.

Brian's career began at Dayton Power and Light in June 1987, where they held various management positions. Brian started in engineering, moved into customer service, worked on a re-engineering project, and led the implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure with a team of 120 personnel and contractors. Brian spent over a decade at Dayton Power and Light before transitioning to the private sector.

Brian Jones obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business from Wright State University, where they attended from 1984 to 1988.
