John C. Hernandez

John C. Hernandez has been President at Irvine Valley College since July 2020. Prior to that, they served as President at Santiago Canyon College from July 2005 to July 2020. John has also served as Associate Dean for Student Development at Santa Ana College from June 1998 to June 2002 and as Assoc Vice President & Dean of Students at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona from January 2002 to December 2005.

John C. Hernandez has a PhD in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of Maryland, an MS in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach, a BA in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton, and an AA in Sociology from Fullerton College.
