Sydney Mungly has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2019, they completed an internship at UserTech. In 2020, they interned at UNIVERSITÉ DES MASCAREIGNES, where they were responsible for establishing an online platform to provide support to affected students during the COVID-19 pandemic. They then joined Accenture as a Test Engineering Associate, where they worked from August 2020 to July 2022. In 2022, Sydney worked as a QA Engineer at ELCA Mauritius from July to September. They then moved on to Skill and You as a Software Tester from October to December. In 2022, Sydney joined TotalEnergies as a Software Tester and held the position until May 2023. Currently, they are working as a QA Analyst at ISAAC Instruments, starting in July 2023.
Sydney Mungly completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Applied Computer Science from the UNIVERSITÉ DES MASCAREIGNES from 2017 to 2020. During the same period, Sydney also pursued a Licence in Informatique Appliquée from the Université de Limoges. In addition, Sydney attended the Mauritius Institute of Training and Development for Full Stack Web Development, starting in 2017. Prior to these higher education experiences, Sydney attended New Eton College from 2009 to 2017, where they earned an A-Level (Higher School Certificate) in Computer Science and Physics.
Apart from these academic qualifications, Sydney has obtained several certifications. In 2022, Sydney acquired the ISTQB Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. They also received the Automation Specialist Level 1 and 2 certifications from Tricentis in 2021, along with the Test Design Specialist Level 1 and 2 certifications. Additionally, Sydney obtained the DELF certification from the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale, de la Jeunesse et des Sports in 2016.
