Carlos Mérida Molina

Carlos Martinez has extensive experience in alumni engagement and higher education, currently serving as the Senior Associate Director of Alumni Engagement at the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan since April 2015, following roles as Alumni Engagement Manager and Regional Relations Program Coordinator. Prior to this, Carlos was an Administrator in the School of Public Health Office of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Michigan from August 2013 to March 2015. Earlier experience includes a position as a College Adviser at Muskegon High School, where Carlos supported students in college applications and financial aid, and a role as a Lab Technician at Asbury Carbons focusing on quality control. Carlos began professional experience as an intern in the Department of Psychology at Wayne State University. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan and a degree in Romance Languages and Literature from Universidad de Salamanca.
