Catherine Birkhead is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk, compliance, and conference management. Currently serving as Senior Risk & Compliance Manager at iSelect since April 2016, Catherine has held various roles within the company focusing on compliance and governance. Prior to this, Catherine worked at AccorHotels as Conference & Catering Sales Executive and held multiple positions in sales and event management at Hilton Worldwide and Accor. Catherine's foundational experience began in reservations at Thrifty Car Rental. Educational qualifications include a Certificate IV in Compliance and Risk Management from the Australian Compliance Institute, a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Sociology from the University of Canterbury, and a Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management from Lincoln University (NZ).
