Nonie Hamilton

Nonie Hamilton, MPH, currently serves as Grants Manager at Isla Vista Youth Projects since April 2022. With extensive experience in public health and education, Nonie has also held the position of Academic Coordinator for the Sara Miller McCune Endowed Public Service Internship Program at the Walter H. Capps Center, UCSB, since August 2013, and lectures on Social Ethics and the Nonprofit Sector at UC Santa Barbara since September 2017. Previous roles include Epidemiology Analyst for the COVID-19 Emergency Response at the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department, Health and Prevention Program Manager at the Community Action Commission of Santa Barbara County, and various positions within USAID and the FDA. Nonie earned a Master of Public Health with a focus on Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women's Studies from Wesleyan University.
