James Jurkiewicz

James Jurkiewicz is a seasoned technology and operations leader with a strong background in product development and healthcare consulting. As Cofounder and CTO of Isla Health since September 2019, James has been instrumental in driving innovation in health technology. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Product at Onfido, where James facilitated customer identity verification, and as Head of Operations at Newton Europe, leading operational improvement projects across various sectors. James also held roles as a Research Assistant focusing on higher education insights and an Operational Improvement Intern in manufacturing and healthcare. A graduate of the University of Oxford with a Master’s degree in Engineering, James has demonstrated leadership as Men's Captain of the Oxford University Swimming Club and as Head Boy at Elizabeth College in Guernsey.
