Zaid Ahmed

Zaid Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Zaid started their career at Coventry University as a Project Manager from July 1997 to August 1998. Zaid then worked at Legal & General as a Technical Underwriter & Trainer from December 1999 to July 2004. Following this, they joined Mind Matters as a Director & Therapist, where they provided therapeutic services and managed training needs for the company from August 2004 to July 2007. Zaid then joined Islamic Relief Worldwide as the Head of HR Services & Wellbeing in November 2013, where they provided leadership and oversaw various HR responsibilities. Before their current role at Islamic Relief Worldwide, they also served as ICT Service Delivery Manager from August 2007 to October 2013.

Zaid Ahmed received a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Coventry University from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they studied Business & Finance at Moseley Sixth Form from 1993 to 1995, earning a BTEC National degree. In addition to their formal education, Zaid has obtained various certifications including Mental Health First Aid in 2017, PRINCE 2 Practitioner in 2014, ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in 2013, and Advanced NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Practitioner & Master Practitioner in 2004.
