Curtis Turner

Curtis Turner has extensive experience in aviation maintenance, currently serving as the Maintenance Training Manager at Island Air since May 2013. In this role, Curtis reads and interprets maintenance manuals and technical data to assess repairs or replacements for malfunctioning components, utilizing a strong technical knowledge of electronics, airframe, and power plant systems. Previously held positions include Aircraft Mechanic and Airframe and Power Plant Technician roles at various companies, including Aloha Airlines, where Curtis led and supervised teams of Aviation Technicians, and Air Service Corporation, where Curtis performed inspections on a range of aircraft and engines. Curtis holds an Associate degree in Science/Aviation Maintenance Technology from Honolulu Community College.
