Dave Patten

Dave Patten has extensive experience in the electrical and facilities management sectors, currently serving as Director of Facilities Design and Construction for Island Health since May 2019, following roles as Senior Project Manager and Project Manager within the same organization. Prior to Island Health, Dave Patten worked at Mazzei Electric and Ainsworth Inc. in various capacities, including Service Manager and Electrical Foreman. Earlier experience includes roles as Journeyman Electrician at Trotter and Morton and Incom Electric, where responsibilities encompassed interpreting blueprints, conduit installation, and ensuring electrical code compliance. Dave Patten began the career as an Apprentice Electrician at Mazzei Electric and holds a degree in Electrical Apprenticeship from Vancouver Island University, complemented by Red Seal certification.
