Sarah Lea has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Sarah started their career as a Resident at UBC Obstetrics and Gynecology from July 2010 to December 2012. Following that, they worked as a Family Physician, being self-employed from July 2016 to the present. Currently, they hold the position of Perinatal Addiction Physician Lead at Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority, starting in October 2018.

Prior to that, Sarah completed a Family Medicine Residency at The University of British Columbia in 2016. In terms of additional certifications, Sarah is a member of the International Coaching Federation and has certifications in Breastfeeding for Health Care Professionals, Board Certified Addiction Medicine Physician, and Family and General Practice Physician.
