Alex Bates

Alex Bates is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in management roles within the industry. Currently serving as Vice President for Northeast operations at Island Hospitality Management since June 2015, Alex previously held the position of Area General Manager at Colwen Hotel Management from March 2010 to June 2015. Earlier in the career, Alex worked at Saunders Hotel Group from 2000 to 2009, contributing as both General Manager and Director of Sales. Alex's foundational experience includes a tenure as Sales Manager and Product Development Manager at Tourco from 1996 to 2000. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University.
