Roy Melancon

Roy Melancon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Lead Operator at Island Operating Company since November 2020 and previously held the same position at Woodgroup/PSN since March 2013. Prior to these roles, Roy worked as an Asset Manager at Gis from September 2008 to April 2012, overseeing contract operations, sales, safety, human resources, and recruitment. Roy also served as Production Supervisor at Island Operating Company from January 1995 to September 2008, managing day-to-day operations in the Venice and Galliano areas. Additionally, Roy was the Production Superintendent at Nippon Oil Corporation from September 2006 to September 2007, focusing on operations in the Gulf of Mexico. Educational background includes completion of high school at Loreauville High School from 1983 to 1987.
