Nitzan Egozy

Nitzan Egozy has worked in the software engineering field since 2015. In that time, they have held roles at three companies. At Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., they held the role of Software Developer in the VPN Core/VPN Platforms department from 2015-2017. During this time, they were responsible for developing and enhancing Site to Site and Remote Access VPN for small devices and had a focus on security oriented design and coding. From 2017-2021, Nitzan Egozy worked at OverOps as a Micro Agent Team Leader and Software Developer. In this role, they were responsible for a Java Native Agent, a .Net Profiler and a background Daemon, as well as JVM & CLR internals such as JIT Compilation, Garbage Collection, and Bytecode Instrumentation. Currently, Nitzan Egozy is a Senior Software Engineer at Island.

Nitzan Egozy obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2012 and 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2012 and 2015. Prior to this, they completed a High School degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Chemistry from Israel Arts and Science Academy between 2005 and 2008.
