Wendy Perera

Wendy Perera has recently been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Isle of Wight Council in 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles within the same organization, including Assistant Chief Executive and Director of Strategy from 2018 to 2022, and Head of Place from 2016 to 2018.

Wendy Perera holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Art/Art Studies, General from The Open University, obtained between the years 1991 and 1999. Wendy also completed a Master of Science degree in Animal Behavior and Ethology from the University of Southampton School of Biological Sciences, from 2002 to 2004.
