David Carvalho

David Carvalho is a seasoned Salesforce architect currently working at OWT - Open Web Technology since February 2024. Previously, David held multiple roles at Merkle DACH from October 2015 to January 2024, including Salesforce Technology Director, where responsibilities encompassed technical support for Salesforce projects and internal initiatives, and Salesforce Commerce Director, overseeing a team of over 50 consultants. David began their career as a Senior Consultant leading IT projects for Philip Morris Switzerland and providing ecommerce consulting for Philip Morris UK. Early experience includes positions as a Ruby on Rails Developer at PRIMEIT CONSULTING and Web Developer at Izzato - Web & Communication. David holds a BSc in Informatics Engineering from Universidade do Minho, completed in 2014.
