Katie Taylor has over 14 years of professional experience. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Isometric Technologies (ISO). Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Atomic - Stealth Startup from 2019, where they were the first IC hire and rebuilt the prototype into a more maintainable, stable, and extensible system. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Brandless, Inc., where they worked closely with product and designers to build and optimize brandless.com. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at @Pay Email Checkout as a Product Manager and Data Analyst, where they balanced input from customers, account management, and sales to develop the product roadmap and wrote specs for development. Katie also developed a data analysis program for the company. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at Clover Leaf Environmental Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager, where they led projects to build data management and reporting solutions, provided real-time compliance metrics, and tracked budgets and project status.

Katie Taylor attended the Hackbright Academy in 2017 for a Software Engineering Fellowship. Katie also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of California, Davis.
