Viktor Kurchenko

Viktor Kurchenko has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Viktor started their career at Swedbank in 2004 as a System Administrator/Software engineer and later became the Head of IT department. In 2010, they joined Beeline Russia as a Chief Network Engineer/Software Engineer. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at "EC END TI UKRAINA" as a Networking Consultant and later became the Chief Networking Consultant/Software Engineer. In 2014, they joined Luxoft as a Middle Java Developer and eventually became a Senior Software Engineer. Viktor then moved to Software MacKiev in 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Zoolatech, LLC [Nordstrom Inc.] as a Tech/Team Leader and also as a Senior Software Engineer for a short period. In 2020, they joined Zoolatech, LLC [Recon] as a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Architect. Viktor then worked at Zoolatech, LLC [Pandora] from 2021 to 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead. Currently, they are a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Isovalent, starting in 2023.

Viktor Kurchenko obtained their Bachelor's degree and Postgraduate diploma from Ternopil I. Puliui State Technical University in Ukraine. Viktor studied at the Computer Technologies Department from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their university education, Viktor obtained a CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) degree from the Cisco Regional Networking Academy, which they pursued from 2004 to 2011.

Apart from their formal education, Viktor has acquired several certifications in various fields. These include LFS258: Kubernetes Fundamentals from The Linux Foundation (obtained in June 2022), Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft (obtained in May 2022), and multiple AWS Fundamentals certifications from Coursera obtained in July 2020 (Addressing Security Risk, Migrating to the Cloud, Building Serverless Applications, and Going Cloud-Native). Viktor also holds the Certified Neo4j Professional certification from Neo4j (obtained in July 2019), Oracle Database SQL certification from Oracle (obtained in February 2018), Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer (obtained in June 2016), and Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer (obtained in April 2016). Additionally, Viktor has obtained several certifications from Cisco, including Cisco OMSTP (DWDM) in December 2011, Cisco Borderless Networks in July 2011, Cisco Certified Network Professional in May 2011, and Cisco Certified Network Associate in December 2003. Viktor also holds an IELTS certification from the British Council (obtained in April 2016), as well as certifications in Apache Spark Fundamentals and Java Design Patterns obtained from Luxoft in March 2017 and November 2015, respectively.
