Deirdre McNamara

Deirdre McNamara has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Deirdre is currently working as the Head of Marketing and Communications at ISPCC since January 2023. Before that, they were employed by Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board as a Corporate Marketing and Communications professional from September 2021 to January 2023. Prior to their role at Bord Bia, Deirdre worked as a self-employed Communications Consultant from September 2015 to October 2021. Deirdre also served as the Deputy Managing Director at The Reputations Agency, Wunderman Thompson, a public relations and communications consultancy, from January 2014 to June 2014. Deirdre was a Director at BwD, Wunderman Thompson from March 2002 to February 2014, where they demonstrated expertise in public relations, social media, and experiential marketing. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Communications Manager at MTV Networks from 1999 to 2001 and as a Public Relations Manager at Hearst Magazines from 1996 to 1999.

Deirdre McNamara has a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English and History from University College Dublin.
