Alexander Kamkin is a leading researcher and project manager at ISPRAS (Russian Academy of Sciences) since 2011, also serving as a senior researcher in the same institution. In addition, Alexander Kamkin has been a lecturer at Lomonosov Moscow State University and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) since 2015 and 2013, respectively.
