Gil Rapoport

Gil Rapoport's work experience includes being the Medical Research Motivator and Founder at EGDAL AI since February 2020. Gil is also the Medical Research Founder at EGDALAI since November 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Operations, Innovative Projects Group at IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries, where they played a key role in various strategic projects and developed data communication-based systems for military use. Gil also worked as a Strategic Advisor - Aerial Communication Networks at IAI from February 2005 to March 2009. Gil has experience as an Executive Member at International LEAP Network (from September 2021 to October 2022) and as a Commercial Pilot at EL AL Israel Airlines (from May 2005 to April 2008). Gil has held CEO positions at Mer Group, Elul Technologies Ltd., and Bamboo MediaCasting, Inc. Additionally, they served as EVP Business Development and a founding team member at Bamboo MediaCasting, Inc. Gil worked as the VP of Sales & Marketing at Celletra, where they led the Sales, Business Development, and Marketing departments. Gil was also a founding team member and held the role of SVP Sales and Customer Service at 012 Smile Telecom, where they were responsible for market penetration and the establishment of customer success centers and sales centers.

Gil Rapoport earned an MBA in Marketing Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management between 1989 and 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electronics from Tel Aviv University, completing their studies from 1984 to 1988. Gil also pursued a degree in Aeronautics Physics and Mathematics through the Israel Air Force Academy, where they became a qualified F15 Combat Pilot from 1975 to 1977.
