Nir Zalmanov

Nir Zalmanov is an experienced professional with a strong background in R&D program evaluation, particularly within the plastic, chemistry, agriculture, and water treatment industries. Currently serving as a Professional Auditor at the Israel Innovation Authority since November 2014, Nir also holds the position of CEO at BAS Biological Alarm Systems, focusing on developing an analyzer for monitoring microbial contamination in water. Prior roles include Project Manager for potable water disinfection at Israel Chemicals Ltd and CEO at MemTech Membrane Technology. Nir has extensive experience in sales and marketing management across various companies, including PLASON and polysack plastic industries ltd., and has served as VP of Sales & Marketing and VP of Business Development in previous positions. Nir Zalmanov holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
