Marta Truffi is a researcher at ICS Maugeri SpA Società Benefit since August 2019, focusing on the study of bioengineered nanoparticles and their interactions with biological systems. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher and fellow position at Università degli Studi di Milano from October 2013 to August 2019, where research involved the characterization of nanoparticles biocompatibility in cell culture and in vivo systems. Marta's academic journey also includes a PhD at UMR 7216 - Epigénétique et Destin Cellulaire, where the focus was on the control of epithelial junctions by protein tyrosine phosphatase RPTPalpha. Earlier work includes internships and a bachelor thesis at notable institutions, contributing to research on genetic bases of renal hypodysplasia and histone modifications in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Marta holds multiple master's degrees in Biotechnology, including from Université Paris Cité and Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
