Arnaud Céol

Arnaud Céol is an experienced ICT specialist in research computation and data management, currently employed at IEO Istituto Europeo di Oncologia since January 2018. Responsibilities include managing a bioinformatics platform and coordinating the Bioinformatics Unit within the Department of Experimental Oncology. Prior to this role, Arnaud served as a postdoctoral fellow at IIT - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, focusing on laboratory information management and Next Generation Sequencing analysis pipelines, and at IRB Barcelona, contributing to the AntiPathoGN project. Early career experiences included significant roles at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata," where several biological databases and tools were developed. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a focus on bioinformatics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, along with degrees in bioinformatics, computer science, and physics/chemistry from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
