Gabriele Galateri Di Genola

Gabriele Galateri Di Genola is President at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. After obtaining the Master of Business Administration from the Business School of Columbia University, he began his professional career in 1971 in the Central Management of the Banco di Roma, with the previous position as Head of the Financial Analysis Office, subsequently as Head of the International Financing Office. In 1974 he joined the Saint Gobain Group, first in Italy as Financial Director.

The President is the legal representative of the Foundation, serves as Chairman of the Executive Committee and manages relations with the Board; the individual supervises and oversees the performance of the Institute, through the coordination of functions assigned; liaises with supervisory Institutions and Administrations.
